New York, NY – (April 11, 2016) – Rayland has just been announced as an opener on The Lumineers’ national summer amphitheater tour with dates from Merriweather Post Pavilion to the Hollywood Bowl. Additional dates on the tour will be announced soon including Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater, Berkeley’s Greek Theatre and more.

Originally released on his sophomore full-length Imaginary Man, Rayland Baxter is now presenting his songs “Yellow Eyes” and “Mr. Rodriguez” in a new format – a long form music video whose narrative encompasses both tracks. Courtesy of Rolling Stone, you can watch them both HERE.

“We wanted to film simple, elegant imagery that would conjure up some of the isolation and lost love that runs through both “Mr. Rodriguez” and “Yellow Eyes”,” explained the directors, Finley and Morgan Wise. “And a silver-hued character standing alone in the world-beautiful, proud, but also somehow mournful-felt like an interesting, honest concept to play with.”

Having previously toured alongside Jason Isbell, Kasey Musgraves, Grace Potter and more, Rayland is hitting the road with The Lumineers this summer for many amphitheater dates in addition to appearances at Bonnaroo, Newport Folk Festival and more. All upcoming dates can be found below.
