Indie quartet von Grey will tour the West Coast with Lindsey Stirling, kicking off the run at Pauley Ballroom in Berkeley, CA on November 6th. The band will play two dates in Los Angeles – Hotel Café on November 9th and a sold-out show with Stirling at The Roxy on November 12th. While in the Northwest for the tours three final dates, von Grey will stop by KINK FM in Portland, OR for a performance in The Bing Lounge (11/15). The Atlanta Journal Constitution urged: “see them now, because a few years down the road, you might have to pay big bucks for nosebleed seats in an arena to catch these talented musicians.”

The classically trained Alpharetta, GA sisters recently concluded a U.S. headline tour. While on the road, they taped an episode of “WoodSongs Old Time Radio Hour” hosted by folksinger Michael Johnathon, which is broadcast on over 500 radio stations and American Forces Radio Network and seen on public television stations and the Blue Highway television network. Previous guests have included Emmylou Harris, Brandi Carlile, Avett Brothers, The Little Willies featuring Norah Jones, Neko Case, Punch Brothers and Dar Williams.

von Grey – comprising Annika (lead vocals, violin, banjo, guitar, keys), Fiona (lead vocals, guitar, violin, percussion), Petra (keys, lap steel guitar, background vocals) and Kathryn (cello, bass, mandolin, keys, background vocals) – has performed upwards of 200 shows in the past two years, from recurring residency tours at intimate venues throughout the southeastern U.S. to supporting gigs with such artists as Sarah McLachlan.
