DAY-TO-DAY MANAGER (LA)

Reporting to senior management, the Day-to-Day Manager will be main point of contact between artist and their wider team, overseeing the daily business of artist’s career. We are looking for an experienced day-to-day manager to work with an established artist.

  • Must have experience working with high profile artists. Minimum 8-10 years as a day-to-day manager.
  • Must have experience working on major releases, merchandise campaigns and marketing/coordinating/advancing tours and festivals.
  • This role requires exceptional attention to detail, excellent organizational and analytical skills, and most importantly, the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Seeking someone who is always ”one step ahead” and can handle a full slate of projects and maintain organization at all times.

Qualified candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • You will be exposed to high profile clients, so professionalism is a must
  • Must be punctual, proactive, reliable, detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and resourceful
  • Able to keep track of many ongoing projects with strong attention to detail and excellent follow through
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks with strict deadlines

Responsibilities / Job functions:

  • Act as point of contact for artist, checking in daily, handling requests promptly, running meetings, filtering information, and coordinating with the wider team.
  • Regularly report to senior management, providing updates on current activities, goals, and task lists. This includes digital analytics, music consumption, ticket sales, merchandise sales, press reports, etc.
  • Act as key point of contact for internal and external team members, including booking agents, touring team, digital team, merchandise companies, record labels and distributors, publicists, business managers, lawyers, etc. Provide regular updates on artist plans and progress.
  • Manage artist schedule across all business areas.
  • Manage timelines and deliverables for projects across all business areas.
  • Ensure touring calendar kept updated with artist availability, confirmed dates, potential dates.
  • Liaise with tour manager and crew on tour logistics including schedule, transportation, production equipment, merchandise, etc.
  • Liaise with tour marketing on tour planning, asset development, announce/on sale rollout, promotional partners, and VIP programs.
  • Collaborate with record label/distributor on new release campaigns and ongoing maintenance of prior releases.
  • Work with digital team to execute marketing programs and optimize artist’s online presence, utilizing metrics to inform strategy.
  • General administration such as maintaining files and database, executing and tracking contracts, tracking budgets, responding to emails, scheduling meetings and calls, making travel arrangements, etc.

Salary Range: 90-125k
