Ruby, iHeartMedia’s branded studio dedicated to crafting meaningful, impactful and culturally relevant stories with partners, and Lincoln today announced the debut of the new podcast “Before The Moment with Nile Rodgers,” a Lincoln Original Series hosted by the award-winning legendary musician, songwriter and producer Nile Rodgers. The new series takes Rodgers on the road in a Lincoln Navigator® SUV for intimate conversations with some of music’s biggest names about the pivotal moments that changed the course of their lives and careers. A lifetime spent making music is made up of individual moments — and no moment is more important than the one before everything changes. In each episode, Rodgers will sit down with an iconic artist to look back at a defining turning point, exploring what was happening just before everything changed and the people, choices and circumstances that helped shape what came next. Known for designing luxurious vehicles and cabins where drivers are able to pause, reflect, and reset, Lincoln collaborated with iHeartMedia to explore that same prelude in music.

By highlighting the threshold moments before an artist’s career changes forever, Lincoln champions the focused preparation required to achieve cultural breakthroughs.

One of the most influential figures in music, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Chairman and inductee of the Songwriters Hall of Fame and multiple Grammy Award winner, Nile Rodgers brings his unique perspective to these conversations, drawing on more than five decades of experience shaping the sound of generations through his work with The CHIC Organization and artists including Diana Ross, Madonna, David Bowie, Duran Duran, Daft Punk, Coldplay and Beyoncé.

The series kicks off on Tuesday, September 15 with Grammy Award-nominated, chart-topping Alex Warren, followed by Grammy Award-winning artist Miguel; EGOT-winning multiplatinum artist John Legend; critically acclaimed singer and songwriter SIENNA SPIRO; and Goo Goo Dolls, with additional guests to be announced.
