Interpol announces three performances in Mexico, taking the band to Guadalajara, Mexico City and Monterrey in March 2027. The tour begins at Arena Guadalajara on March 2, continues at Mexico City’s 40,000cap Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes March 6 and arrives at Arena Monterrey March 9.

The Mexico City stadium show at Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes, includes very special guests Queens of the Stone Age.

Following their appearance at Tecate Pa’l Norte earlier this year and ahead of headlining Tecate Península in Tijuana this October, the new dates mark Interpol’s highly anticipated return to Mexico City following the historic show the band performed in the city’s Zócalo on April 20th, 2024. In front of more than 200,000 people, the band delivered the largest show of its career and reaffirmed an extraordinary connection it shares with the people of Mexico.

The announcement of this tour follows the release of This Mirror Weighs a Ton, Interpol’s first album in close to five years and their debut for Partisan Records. Produced by Grammy and Oscar winner Andrew Wyatt—known for his work with ROSALÍA and Charli xcx—with additional production from James Ford, and mixed by Dave Fridmann—The Flaming Lips, Tame Impala—the record expands on the band’s unmistakable universe into a new sonic dimension.

Recorded at Arcos, Wyatt’s studio in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, This Mirror Weighs a Ton is the first album Interpol created in New York, the city where the band formed.

After returning to Coachella this year for their fifth appearance at the festival, sharing new material for the first time, Interpol is preparing to reunite with its most passionate audience in March 2027, the band will return to Mexico City while bringing its live show to Guadalajara and Monterrey too, opening a new chapter in a relationship that continues to evolve with every visit.
