Accounting Assistant (Charlottesville)
The RLM Accounting Assistant will be responsible for the following items-
- Accounts Receivable Support
- Ensure revenue items are posted correctly and in a timely manner.
- Emphasis on posting priority client revenue items.
- Concur + Expense Processing
- Work with team to assist in managing Employees’ timely submission of Expense Reports
- Daily Review + Processing of Reports in the approval process
- Artist Billbacks
- Weekly preparation and distribution of pre-bill reports for managerial approval
- Creation and submission of approved invoices to respective clients
- Processing of AR adjustments for changes in billing
- Performing timely follow-ups on outstanding invoices to support team with effective collections
- Accounts Payable Activities
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely and accurate check payments.
- Verify and reconcile payment documentation and vendor records to ensure compliance with internal policies
- Accounts Receivable Support
- Ensure revenue items are posted correctly and in a timely manner.
- Preparing and depositing physical checks received
- Other Special Projects and tasks upon request
Requirements:
- Proficiency working with various accounting systems and Excel (as well as the rest of the Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, timely, and professionally
- Experience working with SAP Concur Expense, QuickBooks, and Sage Intacct (Preferred)
- Highly motivated self-starter, with well-developed critical thinking skills and ability to independently analyze complex data sets.
- Passionate about music or interest in the music industry

Marketing & Creative Manager (Los Angeles)
Marketing & Creative Manager (Los Angeles)
Silverback Music and Red Light Management are looking for an experienced marketing & creative manager to report to senior managers for an established music roster and record label.
- Knowledge and a passion for music of all genres particularly alternative, hip hop and reggae.
- Manage creative and marketing asset development for tours, single/album releases, merch, festivals
- Graphic design, video editing, project management, and social media experience.
- Experience working with high profile artists. Minimum 3+ years in a similar role, at a music management company or label.
- This role requires exceptional attention to detail, excellent organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- This position is full-time and based out of Los Angeles, CA but open to remote work.
RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Creative Project Management
- Coordinate with illustrators, designers, animators and video editors to create high quality digital content, show posters, tour art, merch designs, album covers, etc.
- Graphic Design & Content Creation
- Work to create visually appealing graphics and videos for use on social media, tour assets, music releases, merch, etc.
- Merchandise
- Coordinate with artists merchandise partners
- Help Manage e-commerce stores, help to create tour merch lines, review and analyze sales and inventory
- Social Media Management
- Execute social plans and roll out strategy to drive engagement goals
- Manage weekly social media post schedules across various platforms and accounts
- Digital Management
- Update websites, build email newsletters, interface with third party digital marketing companies
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
- Graphic design and video editing skills to help create ongoing content for marketing assets and materials
- Creative and forward-thinking marketing ideas
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
- Must be punctual, proactive, reliable, detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and resourceful

- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks with strict deadlines
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS degree preferred
- Strong proficiency in Adobe suite
- Knowledge of Dropbox and Google Docs/Spreadsheets
- Understanding of the digital landscape (trends, DSPs, understanding of all major how social platforms function and the appropriate content strategy for each)
Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000
