With more than two decades of hits together, Joe King, Ben Wysocki, and Dave Welsh are also accomplishing something new on this project, co-writing all 11 tracks together for the first time as a band. That includes their current single “Ice Cold Lakes,” which they performed this week on The Kelly Clarkson Show. Watch HERE as well as the official visualizer HERE.

The band also kicked off release week with a special performance and conversation at the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles, moderated by journalist and producer Adam Weissler. In front of a sold-out crowd, they shared stories about their early days, reflected on their biggest hits, and previewed new music from the album.

Additional milestone news arrived this week as their breakthrough album How to Save a Life was newly certified 5X Platinum by the RIAA, further proof that the band’s catalog continues to resonate with longtime listeners and new fans alike.

The band will support the new album on their Summer of Light Tour, featuring special guests Dashboard Confessional, Colony House, The Strumbellas, and Brother Elsey on select dates. The tour kicks off in Canada in May and runs across the U.S. through August. New festival appearances have also been announced, including a performance at the Bourbon & Beyond Festival in Louisville, KY this fall. Tickets are available now at thefray.com.
