April 8, 2013 – Indie-alt-folk band von Grey – who performed on “Conan” last week while the show was broadcasting from Atlanta – will celebrate Record Store Day on April 20^th with the release of a limited edition live album, which will be available to the participating Atlanta area record stores, Wax ‘n’ Facts, Decatur CD and Criminal Records. Recorded on New Year’s Day 2013 at the famed Atlanta independent record store, LIVE AT CRIMINAL RECORDS 01.01.13 is von Grey’s first-ever live release. The vinyl album contains twelve tracks, including eight previously unreleased songs and comes with a digital download of the entire recording. See below for track listing. The band continues to tour in support of its independently released EP, which was recorded with GRAMMY® award-winning producer/engineer Nick DiDia (Bruce Springsteen, Train, The Gaslight Anthem). von Grey – comprising Annika (lead vocals, violin, banjo, guitar, keys), Fiona (lead vocals, guitar, violin, percussion), Petra (keys, lap steel guitar, background vocals) and Kathryn (cello, bass, mandolin, keys, background vocals) – has performed upwards of 200 shows in the past two years, from recurring residency tours at intimate venues throughout the southeastern U.S. to supporting gigs with such artists as Sarah McLachlan, Company of Thieves and Lindsey Stirling.
