MADISON CUNNINGHAM PERFORMS ON
“THE LATE LATE SHOW WITH JAMES CORDEN”
PLAYS “BROKEN HARVEST,” WRITTEN FOR NPR “MORNING EDITION” SONG PROJECT
Last night GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter and guitarist Madison Cunningham performed “Broken Harvest” on “The Late Late Show with James Corden;” watch/share the performance and interview HERE.
Cunningham wrote the new track specially for the NPR “Morning Edition” Song Project, following the prompt of “Dreams Deferred” and drawing inspiration from the events of 2020; listen to the full interview HERE and the song HERE.
Additionally, she performed last Friday alongside Courtney Marie Andrews on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” #PlayAtHome series. Watch the performance HERE.
“[I] had worried for a moment that a song based on 2020 could be a directionless one to write. A year that left us all like a headless herd of chickens running around a farm yard,” Cunningham explains of her inspiration behind the track. “Loss is in the cards for us humans…maybe, just maybe, we’re born with the strength to deal with it.”
